-3 "Big" Districts. Having three districts, each with at least 6-teams, should allow for the 'right' teams to earn a bid into the playoffs.

What I Would Have Liked
-Two Divisions. Stop with the thought of only using enrollment numbers. Could have gone. Top-24 biggest enrollments schools into two division. 5 Classes

5A Division I (Top Tier)
  1. Cleveland
  2. Rio Rancho
  3. Volcano Vista
  4. Clovis
  5. Eldorado
  6. La Cueva
  7. Manzano
  8. Sandia
  9. Centennial
  10. Mayfield (Up)
  11. Las Cruces
  12. Roswell (Up)
District I
Cleveland
Rio Rancho
Volcano Vista
Clovis

District II
La Cueva
Eldorado
Sandia
Manzano

District III
Centennial
Mayfield
Las Cruces
Roswell

5A Division II (Next Tier)
1. Atrisco Heritage
2. West Mesa
3. Albuquerque
4. Gadsden
5. Onate
6. Cibola
7. Rio Grande
8. Artesia (Up)
9. Goddard (Up)
10. Hobbs
11. Piedra Vista (Up)
12. Farmington (Up)

District I
Artesia
Goddard
Hobbs
Albuquerque

District II
Piedra Vista
Farmington
Cibola
Atrisco Heritage

District III
West Mesa
Rio Grande
Onate
Gadsden

*Up = from current 5A class (we eliminated 6A)
-Take only the top 24 teams with the biggest enrollment numbers but split into two divisions.
-Top 8 teams make the playoffs.
-Two 6 team Districts/Conference or Three, 4 team districts.
-10 game schedule but all games must be against 5A teams from either Division I or II.
-Divison II gets tricky to get into three districts but would only have Albuquerque make two long distance travels in district/conference play.

Just a thought.
