Predictions for Team Rankings 30-39

Make-or-Break Type of Season: No. 33 West Mesa
The West Mesa Mustangs went 4-6 last and could be due for a breakout season in a very winnable district for the Mustangs. Right now we lean more the the Make side of this conversation as a 6-win season and high possibility for a district championship as they are gaining steam. Read the quick outlook on the Mustangs.

My vote to win a state championship: No. 38 Lordsburg
The Mavericks have the stud quarterback, a top running back and receiver to make an improvment on a 9-4 season in which they reached the semi-finals. If you have stock to but the Mavericks could be a hot buy as they drop down to 2A football. Read the quick outlook on the Mavericks.

Most likely to defend their State Championship: No. 31 Hatch Valley
The Bears went a remarkable 13-0 and return one of the best receiving cores in 4A football next season. This season the parity is stronger in 4A but the Bears could hold the edge on some the returning prospects. Read the quick outlook on the Bears

The Contender: No. 34 Robertson
The Cardinals fell to Hatch in the 2015 State Title and could be the likely favorite to many picks out there with the return of a stud young quarterback. They have a handful of offensive weapons to gain several votes. Read the quick outlook on the Cardinals.

Most likely to return to the post season: No. 36 Del Norte
The Del Norte Knights suffered from the injury bug last season losing their top prospect but could be ready to have a season in which they make a big step forward. Their district is wide open each season and they will have every opportunity to their move. Read the quick outlook on the Knights.
