PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Dec. 30, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo has received mention in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Division II Preseason Poll.
The ThunderWolves "received votes" for the poll, which lists the nation's top 40 teams heading in to the 2014 campaign. Regularly, the CBN Poll lists the nation's top 30 teams, but expands its field to 40 for its preseason poll.
The ThunderWolves were one of just two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams to appear in the poll, marking the first time since 2010 that CSU-Pueblo has made an appearance in the CBN Preseason Poll.
The mention also marks the first time since 2012 that CSU-Pueblo has appeared in a CBN ranking.
The ThunderWolves open its Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship title defense on Feb. 7 when it hosts West Texas A&M at Rawlings Field.
