Recap
2022 Record: 7-5 overall, 4-0 district
2022 Wins: Belen (45-0), Alamogordo (43-30), Capital (44-21), Albuquerque (27-0), Santa Fe (51-0), Clovis (54-0), Cibola (31-14)
2022 Losses: Farmington (26-11), Roswell (35-23), La Cueva (49-17), Cibola (36-30), Cleveland (48-9)

Best Case Scenario: 8-2 overall. Los Lunas has been constant in the top ten of New Mexico high school football for several years now. The majority believe that could take a dip this season. The good news: the Tigers schedule is favorable for a team going through a transition. Only two games are considered underdogs -- Roswell and La Cueva. They lost to both last season along with Farmington and Cibola during the regular season. Farmington will be a challenge again and the Cibola game was swapped out for Valley. They'll roll on Belen, they'll battle against Alamogordo and district should be in their favor again.

Worst Case Scenario: 5-5 overall. Over the last five years, the Tigers have averaged 9.4 wins per season, including their playoff games. Their lowest win total during this period was in the 2022 season, where they won only 7 games. Now, the Tigers are entering a rebuilding phase as they face the challenge of competing without their all-state quarterback, Paul Cieremans, for the first time in two seasons. Despite this setback, the Tigers are still expected to perform well, with a predicted floor of five wins.
