Best Case Scenario: 7-3 overall, 1-2 district. For the first time in 17-years the Mayfield Trojans will enter the season without head coach Michael Bradley. Enter in, Gary Bradley the brother to the longtime head coach and former Farmington and Carlsbad head coach. The Trojans have a well balanced schedule that could put them back over .500 after going 5-7 in 2022. Opening with Manzano, Santa Teresa, and Organ Mountain could propel them into a promise season. Another heavy favorite game is on the road at Belen. Deming, they are favored but it will be a tough outing, same with Goddard.
Worst Case Scenario: 4-6 overall, 0-3 district. The Trojans must win the games that we have them favored to reach the worst case scenario. They have two of our (to coin flip games) and a true coin flip game against Las Cruces that could send them below .500, if they drop all three.
