Carlsbad started strong, racing to a 14-0 lead early in the game. They maintained momentum, extending their advantage to 29-2 by halftime. The action began with Carlsbad returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. A quick turnover allowed them to score again, making it 14-0. Later, a punt return touchdown and a well-executed two-minute drive further increased their lead.
