Ryan Moore out of Manzano High School ran the fastest 40-time

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO - The New Mexico Highlands Football Staff made it's annual trip to the Albuquerque Metro Area on Wednesday June 15th, stopping at St. Pius X High School and La Cueva. Here is a quick run-down of athletes that impressed from the two events.

Top Performers From The Camp

Trevor Brohard - 6-foot-4, 210 pounds - Tight End/Linebacker - Brohard who already has an offer from Western Colorado, was offered by the New Mexico Highlands staff according to the Los Lunas Football Staff.

Drew Ortiz - 6-foot-0, 175 pounds - Quarterback - Picked up his first offer of the 2016 season from New Mexico Highlands. As a junior Ortiz threw for 47 touchdowns, 2,200 passing yards, and had 1,100 rushing yards.

Ben Bertram - 6-foot-2, 230 pound - Linebacker - Picked up an offer from Adams State recently and was one of the prospects that stood out during the event. Would not be surprised if Highlands offers him.

Devin Woolsey - 5-foot-11, 175 pounds - Safety - Very smooth during the 40-time, has interest from New Mexico

Caleb Dimas - 6-foot-1, 275 pound - Offensive Tackle - Very well spoken young man, moved well, has had an impressive summer

Ryan Moore - 6-foot-0, 170 pounds - Defensive Back - Fastest prospect during the camp today, really surprised he does not hold an offer already.

Austin Barnes - 6-foot-4, 250 pounds - Offensive Tackle - Really good looking prospect for the Knights

Josh Woisin - 5-foot-10, 190 pounds - Running Back - Excellent showing during the event, second fast 40-time, built like a brick house, moves well

Additional Standouts

Dominic Fischer - West Mesa - Quarterback
Chris Streetz - Volcano Vista - Running Back
Brandon Call - Del Norte - Safety
Chris Campbell - La Cueva - Quarterback
Derek Loidolt - La Cueva - Linebacker

Del Norte Running Back Avery See Update

Spoke with Head Del Norte Football Coach Bruce Binkley during the event and he told me that Avery See out of the Class of 2016 is down to 210 pounds. See was floating around 245 pounds as a junior. See has been contacted by New Mexico and by San Diego State.
