Thoreau has so far struggled to close out an close games against the top three teams in district. Prep dominated in their last meeting on the road and now get to host Thoreau in the last of their two games. If Tohatchi wants a chance at a share of first place, they're cheering for Thoreau tonight.
#19 Escalante at #16 Mesa Vista
Mesa Vista has found themselves in second place in the 2A northern district, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy for them to hang on to it. Mesa Vista has a very, very tough stretch in their final games that include Escalante, Penasco, and Questa with Questa and Escalante sitting only a game back with four games left to play. It'll be a wild end in this district for everyone behind Penasco.

Questa looks to even their series with Mora after the stunning loss the last time these two teams met. Questa sits in third place tied with Escalante but has four games to make a run at second place.
