LC participated in Tuesday's MPL at Highland High. I asked someone associated with the school what had happened to P Jonathan Stroman. He was drafted in 39th round by Tampa, but won't sign a pro contract. Instead, I was told he will attend Yavapai Junior College in Prescott, Ariz. Since he is attending a JC, he is eligible for the 2018 MLB Draft. The 3-year rule doesn't apply to JCs.
