Scoop: Our rankings differ from bracket watch. This is a progression from week to week of what have you done lately (or last week). Teams move up and down pending wins and losses from the week before. Who did some moving this week? Cleveland's 0-3 start to district play drops them out of the the top-2 spots for the first time this season. Volcano Vista, Atrisco, Rio Rancho, and Cibola all members of 1-6A made some moves, all up, and this district looking to be the best again in 6A. Atrisco made the biggest jump and off to a 3-0 start.

Former Aggies

NMSU honored some of my favorite Aggies Thursday and Saturday. Richard Robinson was my favorite player. Greg Webb played harder than anyone I have ever seen. Slab Jones was... well he was Slab- great player. Notie Pate, Tip Cormier, Donald Dotson, Dexter Hawkins. I am sure I left a few off but what a nice honor for my childhood sports heroes.
