Cleveland High School CB class of ‘21. This kid had a great camp and performed very well against some top athletes in the DFW region.

2 time defending state champs, played in 4 straight title games. Some of the best facilities and stadium in the state at any level. And no one has started a thread? C’mon man, the Jal guy has to make this post? Haha
So who are some names that go after this spot? Eunice sources tell me most of the assistants will be in Hobbs with Stevens or have already left for other schools. So don’t think the hire will come from within.

I really do not know him, but I have been around him because he competed against my son this past year (Kobe Leal from Clayton). I was so impressed with his positive attitude and excellent sportsmanship!

He is an outstanding athlete, but a very humble young man!

I hope I have the blessing from Coach DeHoyos at Bloomifiled to post this. Frank was railroaded out as the baseball coach in Bloomfield. How sad that a coach who won the school’s only baseball championship and sent almost 20 kids to the next level was relieved of his duties because he obviously didn’t cater to the minority of those who didn’t like him.

I have looked at three New Mexico high school junior running backs film this morning and FWIW just a couple of observations here:

First every high school running back in the country is running for touchdowns... but 65% of a college running backs job is blocking and pass catching, so if 65% of your film doesn't show you blocking or catching passes out of the backfield you aren't giving a college coach what he needs to see...

And second, I also looked up the twitter account for all three and none of the three make any mention of having been to a campus for either a visit or camp yet...

Good film and getting on campus' are two critical components for a young man looking to play at the next level!!

Just being talented, and hoping someone will notice won't get it done in today's recruiting world...
