Proview Networks to Air KENW Broadcast Wednesday Evening

PORTALES, N.M. – Proview Sports Network will be broadcasting a replay of the KENW produced live broadcast of this past weekend's Eastern New Mexico football game against #5 Midwestern State this Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The replay of the student-orientated broadcast will play on Comcast channel 26 and will be an illustration of the diligent work that the Eastern New Mexico students put it in to produce a quality broadcast week in and week out. The broadcast generated over 13,000 viewers for the Hound's game in week three of the regular season against #1 Texas A&M-Commerce and will be available for the remaining three homes games left on the regular season schedule.

The student-based broadcast allows students from Eastern New Mexico's campus the opportunity to produce a full-fledged game day broadcast complete with pregame shows, halftime reports, and post-game wrap-ups to provide the Eastern New Mexico football team one of the better platforms in all of Division II football for exposure.

"We are grateful that KENW and it's student workers continually produce such a quality product that illustrates our team's effort each and every home game," head football coach Kelley Lee said, "It really means something to our athletes that they know that their performances will be broadcast across the region in such a professional manner. It really is a tool that we use to promote our program and it allows our games to be watched by Greyhound Nation all across the country."

KENW is a public broadcasting station that is broadcasted locally on digital channel 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-4 as a PBS member station and is the home of the popular "Sportslook" program that highlights ENMU athletics every Thursday at 9 p.m. Hosted by award-wining New Mexico broadcaster Doc Elder and supervised by Producer/Director Allan Crawford, the show provides Eastern New Mexico students with a hands-on lab to learn valuable television production skills that can prepare them for a future in sports broadcasting.

The livestream of each Eastern New Mexico home game will be available live and free through a link on the KENW website. The direct link to the broadcast will also be available on all pre-game releases and online at goeasternathletics.com under the football schedule tab.
