NMPreps.com's Week 8 Bracket Watch
Vying for the Top-4 *Prediction on district finish
1. La Cueva (16-2 Record) - Automatic as 2-6A DC
2. Centennial (17-3 Record) - Automatic as 3-6A DC
3. Piedra Vista (14-7 Record) - Automatic as 1-6A DC
4. Clovis (17-3 Record) - At-Large 2-6A DRUP
5. Carlsbad (16-4 Record) - At-Large 3-6A DRUP
Right now I'd go La Cueva or Centennial getting the top seed. La Cueva owns some important wins over Del Norte (potential DC), Rio Grande (could be a DC). Centennial, unless Deming upsets ST, could lack that point value. However, Freeman helps Centennial today. Piedra Vista could also slide up each day, as long as they continue to win in 1-6A (4-0 Record). La Cueva has Clovis and Centennial already split with Cbad - can't afford another slip.

Albuquerque
Las Cruces

* Looks as of today that 3-6A could get six of their seven in the tournament. Albuquerque at 3-1 in 4-6A could also play into the bracket. Rio Grande is our predicted DC as of now but this finish could dictate the final four slots. Las Cruces at 7th in 3-6A will need to make way and maybe play into the tournament.
