Hey all you baseball fans out there, i'm wondering if you can help out. Looking for a pitching machine, coach suggested a Juggs throws fastballs, curves, sliders. Parents have pitched in 800 bucks. I bet someone out there can help us out! Willing to pick it up and hoping sometime early this week! Thanks for your time reading this, hopefully something works out!

Cassie Vickery - Tularosa - Big performance in the quaterfinal with 22 points.

Jaedyn De La Cerda - Roswell - Unstoppable. De La Cerda took over having non-stoppable scoring during the post season.

N'Asia McIntosh - Gallup - One of the best players in the state, N'asia was a double-double machine and top prospect.

Jasmine Gannon - Texico - Had 24 points in the title game, a top not prospect and stud in the paint.

Gali Sanchez - Roswell - Not given enough credit during the season, Sanchez was solid in the paint this post season. 12 points, 9 boards and 3 assists in the post season.

Taylor Bostwick - Melrose - 22 points in the title game, had a phenomenal state title game especially in the first half.

Shania Gilliland - Tularosa - Top player for the Lady Wildcats, putting in 14 in the title game.

Megan Falcon - Elida - Part of the 6-peat, 14 points and 4 rebounds in the title game.

Kaylee Foote - Logan - Foote was vital in the upset win of the title had 14 points and 10 rebounds in the final game.

Amaya Brown - Cibola - Top player in the state and played well and 10 points, 5 boards in the final game.

Raven Herrera - Volcano Vista - 16 points and 13 rebounds in the final game.

Deezha Battle - Volcano Vista - Battle is a big time player and huge in the run for the title


Corbyn Cunningham - Cibola - A good post player that had 11 points and 4 boards in the title game.

Shontia Grey - Shiprock - The unsung player that was dominate with double-double type games. Around 15 points and 10 boards per game and several assists per game.

Tanisha Begay - Shiprock - One of the best guards in the state of New Mexico. Over 10 points per game and player that can shoot with the best of them.

Alivia Lewis - Hope - One, if not the best, post in 4A basketball. Lewis was unstoppable in the title game.


Kamrey Blakey - Portales - One of the best players from the 2016 classification. Solid player with big numbers.

Brianna Reyna - Texico - Played well this post season and good numbers

Hanna Valencia - Hope - A good guard that played well during the post season run, scored over 30 total points in the tournament. 2017 graduate

Kippi Webb - Logan - A force for the state runner up Lady Longhorns. Had 10 points and 9 rebounds in the title game.

Raquel Horta - Volcano Vista - Does a lot of the little things well. 5 points and 7 rebounds in the title game.


Alexis Lovato - Espanola - Played well this post season had 20 points and 10 rebouds in the Elite 8.

Jayden Perez - Las Cruces - A rising star in New Mexico had 14 points in the win over Eldorado.

Jordan Holland - Los Lunas - One of the top players in the state of New Mexico helped the Tigers reach the Final Four. Had 22 points in the Elite Eight

Dmitri Fong - Cibola - Played tough this post season for the Cougars had 9 points in the quarterfinal

Kaitlyn Romero - Espanola Valley Had 21 points in the Elite Eight game over Los Alamos.


Madison Haley - Elida - Helped Elida win their 6th consecutive state title with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Carsyn Boswell - Carlsbad - Had 24 points in the Elite Eight win over Mayfield.

Jordyn Lewis - Ramah - Scored an impressive 55 points on 10, 3-pointers.


Sydney Candelaria - Eldorado - Scored 21 points in the opener.

Kristyn Archuleta - Alamogordo - 14 points against Cibola.

Aviana Garcia - Tularosa - had 10 points and 4 rebounds in the title game.


Cera Chavez - Los Lunas - 18 points in the Elite Eight.

Ashlyn Trujillo - Los Alamos - Scored 21 against Goddard, 17 against Espanola

Kayla Salzar - Los Alamos - Big contributor during the season and in the tournament

Cheyenne Begay - Tohatchi - Scored 11 points in an upset win over Laguna-Acoma as the Cougars reached the Elite-8.

Destinee Vigil - Valencia - The Lady Jaguars reached the Elite Eight before falling to the eventual state champ Roswell Coyotes. She had 10 points and 10 rebounds in that contest.

Kavionna Brown - Cibola - the point guard for the Cougars, might not jump out on the stat sheet but a floor general.

Brianna Roybal - Valley - The Viking reached the Elite 8 this season behind her 20 points.

Harria Medoza - Eunice - scored 20 points, 9 steals and 5 rebounds in the opening round.

Deanna Bustos - West Las Vegas - Scored 17 points in the Elite 8.

Nykki Benally - Piedra Vista - The Lady Panthers made an impressive showing, Benally had 24 points in the Elite eight against Gallup.

Kourtney Lewis - Ramah - Scored 24 points in the opening round.

Sophia Roybal - Los Alamos - 15 points in the opener of Goddard.

Milan Schimmel - SFIS - The guard is talented leading the SFIS Braves to the Final Four. Had 12, 7 boards.

Ashlynn Trujillo - Los Alamos - 21 points vs Goddard in the opening around followed by 17 against Espanola Valley.

Jade Hill - Cleveland - Scored 21 points in the upset win over La Cueva.

Alyssa Adams - Moriarty - Scored 17 points in the Elite 8 against Los Alamos.

Rodriguez Wins Coach Of The Year

Record: 23-6
Post Season: Elite Eight

Ray Rodriguez has been named the 2016 NMPreps.com Coach of the Year after guiding the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) to a 23-6 record and an Elite Eight appearance.

Rodrgiuez, a longtime head coach for the Cibola Cougars improved their win total from 14 wins in 2014-15 to 23 this season with a young roster loaded with 2017 talent. Rodriguez achieved a major milestone this season winning his 400th win and finished the season with 419 wins for his career and his 300th win as the Cougars head coach. Rodriguez is 419-245 for his career and 305-181 as the head coach of the Cibola Cougars. This was the first 20-win season for the Cougars wins the 2005-2006 season.

This is the first time coach Rodriguez has won the award. Head coach Ray Rodriguez earned 26.3% (20) of the NMPreps.com fan vote out of 76 total votes.

6A Player of the Year - Clay Patterson - Rio Rancho HS

Clay Patterson, the class of 2017 star, narrowly wins the vote as the 2016 NMPreps.com 6A Player of the Year. Patterson, consistently played as the most valuable player throughout the season with averages of 20.5 ppg, 3.3 aspg, and 2.4 rbpg along with 1.8 steals per contest. Patterson, led the Rio Rancho Rams to the 2016 state championship as an 11-seed beating most odds.
