Congratulations to MVCS on their hard fought win in Tularosa. You controlled the pace.in.the 2nd half. Both teams played very physical and played their hearts out. Hopefully we can meet down the road.

64 to 58 Mesilla valley gets the win in Mesilla Valley. Very tough game was 23 20 at half. Loddsburg is a tough group and will finish 3rd in the district. I believe they should make it into the state tourney even if it is a 15 or 16 seed. Great win for MV as well tough group of kids I think very capable of being a final 4 team.

I would like to wish all teams the best as they prepare to take the hardwood for the opportunity to clinch a district tournament and a spot in the dance. This year has been very unpredictable and there are a lot of teams that have what it takes to win it all. In my opinion, there is no clear cut favorite. I am anticipating a great State Tournament. Let the games begin and good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
