NFL/ 12/20

The upsets by the Bengals and Jets were truly shocking. The Jet win over the Rams may have cost them the number 1 draft pick but the players and coaches were happier than fat rats eating cheese. Going ofer for the season would have been a dubious distinction. The Bengals beat the Steelers for the first time since 2009. They celebrated as if they had won the Super Bowl. Just goes to to show you in any given game in the NFL, anyone can win.

News Coming!!!

Sally Marquez is having a meeting with the football coaches on Tuesday at 1:30 PM. It's either really good news or really bad news. If nothing significant is happening, why have a meeting with such short notice? What do you guys think we will hear?

I was 100% sure we were going to have a season until volleyball got shut down. After talking to Howie, I felt a little bit better about us having a season, but honestly I don't know.

CBB: Las Cruces Natives Doing Well at Sacramento State

The team is 0-4 right now after playing in four close battles against good competition. However, the good news is freshman Jessica Rios (Centennial High School/Las Cruces) is averaging 8 points per game - played in all four games and started the latest. Sarah Abney, a redshirt Sophomore, from Las Cruces High School is averaging 7 points per game, playing in all four games, starting the last three.

Lobos Start Season 2-0; Play Thursday on Youtube

Lobos struggling to find opponents and found a sluggish start against Our Lady of the Lake, who was coming off a win against D-1 Texas State was firing from beyond the arch. The Lobos blew it open in the second half. UNM 104-65 win. The other win was against Rice late last week.
