MLB -- is it ever ok to throw at a guy?

Yesterday, a White Sox batter showed up a Royals pitcher after a home run, and the pitcher predictably nailed him the next time up: https://www.mlb.com/gameday/royals-...,lock_state=final,game_tab=videos,game=567271.

Here's my (likely unpopular) opinion: if you throw at a hitter on purpose, you should get a suspension of 20 games or more. Headhunting should be no longer be a part of the game. I don't care about how much a guy pimps, showboats, bat flips, etc. Baseball shouldn't tolerate one player throwing a ball 90 mph at another player, no matter how much of an a-hole the second guy is. Guess what -- every sport has showboating a-holes. The solution is to beat them.

And don't come at me about the wussification of America, or how you're "old school." When they banned running over catchers a few years ago, people whined about it. Guess what, we all survived and the game is better for it.

Orlando wins number 300

Congrats Orlie! In 150 of those wins the sprinklers randomly turned on...even though you bragged for years you had control of your own well over there. Veteran moves wins games!

On a serious note...Orlando does a hell of a job helping the kids out in the South Valley. Takes a special person to do what you have done at Rio Grande HS.

Last ACT date for this school year

Did you know that 57% of students who take the ACT more than once increase their score?

On average, for testers who received an initial score between 13 and 29, the second Composite score increases by one point. When you wonder if one point is worth it to retest, remember that one point could make a big difference—it could impact your eligibility for scholarship funding and affect your admission to college.

The last ACT date for this school year is June 8th. --- Registration deadline is May 3rd
