Jack Pineda, La Cueva, was named 1st Team All-American Infielder by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

Kedge is on the short list of the most successful HS coaches in New Mexico. He has won, I believe, 24 or 25 state titles coaching track and cross-country. He is already in the NM Sports Hall of Fame, and today was named national HS track coach of the year.

Also winning national coach of the year, for girls soccer, was La Cueva’s Amber Ashcraft. She is the all-time winningest coach in NM girls soccer.

I see some pricy ones for like 3 days out there. I remember when I was little we had one price for an entire summer and that price was really low.

Toppert hired as an assistant with the Phoenix Suns

That makes two NM products now coaching in the NBA, joining James Borrego, the head coach for Charlotte. Both Toppert and Borrego went to Albuquerque Academy.

SW Nationals 16s out of Phoenix needs an INF and a P if anyone knows of a kid not playing this weekend because of injuries. Please let me know if you have a kid available.

For many years Cobre Girls Basketball was a joke. But previous two coaches, Ray Gonzales and Micaela Medina turned the program into a respectable group. Coach Medina led the program to it's first State tournament birth in 10 years and nearly pulled off a first round upset in 2018. Unfortunately for Cobre that success has cost them their head coach and they need a good coach who can keep the program progressing. NM Preps has sophmore Skkyla Guck ranked in its NM Top 35 Girls Basketball players. The team has some strong senior leadership in Brianna Martinez and Danielle Esqueda.
