What are some teams that you felt had really good summers?

West Mesa is one of those programs that I felt had a solid summer. They had good numbers and were ultra competitive. I believe they even made the semi finals of the Legion State Tournament.

Any others you felt showed signs of great improvement?

Manzano opens the season on Wed., Aug. 23 vs. Atrisco Heritage.

APS Metro Tournament: Aug. 21-Sept. 1 (All 13 APS schools plus Rio Rancho, Cleveland, Academy)

Los Alamos Louis Cernicek Invitational: Aug. 25-26 (Los Alamos, Roswell)

Las Cruces Tournament: Aug. 25-26 (LC schools plus Alamogordo, Chaparral, Deming, Santa Teresa)

Roswell Coyote Classic: Sept 1-2 (Roswell, Capital, Valencia, Carlsbad, NMMI)

Academy Tournament: Sept. 7-9 (Academy, Bosque, Roswell, Hope Christian, Goddard, Los Alamos, Cleveland, Farmington)

Sandia Prep Ben Kivitz Tournament: Sept. 22-23 (Sandia Prep, Hatch Valley)

Also, St. Pius is going to Washington DC at the end of August to play 3 games against DC-area prep schools.
