New Mexico Mr. Football Candidates on Defense

Big time post season awards at all levels like the Heisman Trophy, NFL MVP, Gatorade Player of the Year and NMPreps Mr. Football have a tendency to center around the play of offensive skill players. Today we are taking a look at 10 ballplayers on the defensive side of the ball who could make a case for this year’s NMPreps Mr. Football honor.

We’ll start with some obvious choices who already currently hold offers or are committed to D1 programs.
