Yes very good. Stick it up in the air like you're trying to get fm reception...perfect
2. Move up in the box!
Yes, you have two hits this year, try giving yourself less time to recognize a pitch. And this way you can swing at a pitch that ends up in the left handed batter's box. It does however get you closer to first base so when you strike out on a pitch in the dirt you might have a chance.
3. Watch the change up!
Nice one. kid was not screwed up enough, now we want him guessing for the change. Watch the fastball or the curve or the change up!
4. Get more, more, more, they're not watching you! (to runner on second)
Yes good lead there. In fact if you get over half way, you might as well trounce on over to 3rd because this team we are playing does not understand fractions or bad base running. And thank you sir for being so observant and for alerting how much more you know than the other team and me.

I will try to come up with some more. Seems like I should be able to let this go...but no.

Over the weekend I had an animated discussion with my brother about the philosophy of pushing kids to participate. He is of the mind that kids will find there own way and there own likes and dislikes, but I have always "pushed" (his word) my kids in to being WILL be involved in something; whether it's sports, band, Scouts, 4-H... The whole idle minds concept.

Thoughts on the subject??

Typically the opening weekend for High School teams.

However, the attendance by local High School teams has fallen. As a fan in elementary school and middles school, I would post up all day. I hate that they took high school games out of Johnson Center though and believe that is a reason for the drop from HS teams.

Who is playing in it this year? May 26th - 28th.
