Mayfield Quarterback Joeray Valencia had just thrown a 40-yard touchdown pass to Running Back Isaac Vance to put the Trojans up by one score against Alamogordo in a back and fourth 7-on-7 shootout. Junior Alamogordo Quarterback Kyle Hooper had already thrown three scores in the game and made some big throws in the final drive to put the Tigers in scoring position...

Which NM high School football coaches and teams have the most to prove this year?

Programs like Elev8 sports Institute. I know three or four NM kids have benefited from the Florida based prep school.

Adonis Saltes (Valley) spent a year then signed with Southern Utah.
TJ Holyfield (Manzano) spent a year then signed with S.F Austin
Zach Lee (Eldorado) spent a year and just finished freshman season at Tennessee State.
I thought Warren from Manzano went but not to sure.

What are your thoughts on these programs/schools? Would a school like that work in NM?

I'm not sure if this has been posted anywhere but I saw that Raton has hired a new coach - Jose Archuleta who has been coach at Raton Middle School.
