Who are they?

Moriarty will be making budget cuts by eliminating athletic director position, and also may lose assistant-coaching positions, Moriarty news paper reported some junior and freshman sports may be cut, to balance the budget. Its sad because Brian Stacy (Athletic director) is so dedicated to his job, and it will be a big loss to Moriarty athletics and the High School.

The number 5 seed Valencia Softball team defeated Aztec this morning 2-0 to advance to the first state championship appearance in school history. They beat the 9-time defending champions PV, the number 1 seed Centennial, and number 2 seed Aztec to get to the big game!

Huge accomplishment for this team, and for the county to finally see a team from the school on the east side to advance to the title game!

Capitan is open. English position will be available with others possible.

Impressive. Considering it was in Rio Rancho.
