You can't really consider Lovington a bubble team because they could simply beat Portales or Ruidoso and they are in.

Is Raton a lock in Class 3A, I guess if they beat Robertson this weekend they are.

When was the last time Socorro missed the play-offs?

Tucumcari has to beat at least one district team to get in. Is Tularosa in?

What about NMMI and how many total teams from District 1-2A and District 5-2A will get it?

Is District 4-2A the toughest District in 2A?

According to the Abq.Journal this morning, the Eldorado Boys coach Witkowski will retire at the end of the season. Great job for sure with their tradition and athletes.

Cibola will take on La Cueva at 6:30 at the APS Complex. It will be a former state champion vs. Metro Champion match up. Cibola has started the season off strong, but La Cueva seems to be catching their rhythm. Prediction: La Cueva 2-1

Sandia Prep visits Bosque at 4:00, for what will be a rematch of last year's state final. Both teams have performed well this season, but only one can win. Prediction: Sandia Prep 1-0

Academy will take on Cibola at the APS Complex at 6:45. Both teams have come out strong this season and will be great matchups for each other. Cibola will be coming off a tough game against La Cueva, while Academy will be more rested. Prediction: Cibola 2-0

It's Sandia Prep's turn to make an appearance at the APS Complex as they take on Eldorado at 6:30. It's always a battle between the 5A and 3A powerhouses and usually comes down to who wants it more. Prediction: Sandia Prep- 2-1

Aztec makes the trip to Albuquerque for an 11:00 start against St. Pius. Both teams lost to the 4A state champs in the state tournament, and both can very well be in the championship game this year. Prediction: St. Pius- 1-0
