I understand that David Stormo was not rehired at Taos. Puzzling, because he brought up the numbers and for the first time in a very long time, they fielded a full line-up for state. He also brought up the quality of his wrestlers. He tied for fourth place in this past year's state championship and had numerous state placers. His replacement will have a number of state returning wrestlers that should do well.

I took this copy of the boys rankings according to MaxPreps, all classes. I don't know their formula, I won't even pretend to know about it.
Looks like a lot of 5A school are missing, thought MaxPreps was the main reporting vehicle for the NMAA. Anyone wanna chip in why El Dorado, la Cueva, Academy, etc aren't entering info or something to that effect? Are they using nmsoccer.com?
Obviously these are almost a week old and many games have been played since last Tuesday. Site says updated every Tuesday.

So both teams come into the match in a state of flux.
Mexico has a temporary/replacement coach. The US has three key players out with cards & an injured Micheal Bradley.
It's gonna be interesting to watch the tactical battle. Mexico has pretty much nothing to lose. The new Mex coach could just let the reins go and Mex could attack non-stop, they need the 3pts.
How will JK fill all the gaps in the starting 11? I'd like to think that Aaron Johannson would start, but this I a huge match it might be too early for him. Does Dempsey move up to the point? Does JK switch out of his preferred 4-2-3-1 to more of a 4-4-2?
A draw is a good result for the US. A draw and a loss would be devasting for Mexico.
