Scoop: Like District 1-4A the top will sit alone with a huge gap between the rest of the teams in the district. Espanola Valley is that team. Ryan Trujillo (2019) will be the go-to player for a talent bunch returning. The rest of the teams are far from being in the preseason top-10 rankings.

Justin Madrid (2019) and Quinn Moon (2019) will look to be the early team riser as Taos will be one of the more talented of the rest in the league. Los Alamos has Gavin Campos (2020) returning this season and will try to play into the 15/16 conversation in a packed 4A classification.

Moriarty and Pojoaque Valley are likely in the district and classification cellar this season. The move "up" in classification should affect these two programs.

Possible Playoff Bids: 2/3

Playoff Talk: Espanola is an early Final Four favorite. Taos might be the only other to sneak into the bracket.

Jacob Love (2020) and Brock Dowdy (2020) will usher in a new wave for the Broncos. Miyamura, Aztec, and Shiprock have turnover and will fight for the three spot this year. Bloomfield could be the cellar after graduating 90% of their roster last season.
