NMPreps.com’s Class 6A Basketball Rankings - February 2nd
1. Clovis - Beat Alamogordo last week 58-16. Take on Carlsbad this week. Overall they are 19-2.
2. Cibola - Beat Cleveland and Rio Rancho. Take on Santa Fe and Volcano Vista. 18-1 on the year. Lone loss is against Clovis.
3. Mayfield - Beat Deming 60-25. Do not play this week. Riding a 10-game wining streak beating Hobbs and La cueva during that stretch. 17-4 this year.
4. La Cueva - Beat St. Pius X and Eldorado. Take on Sandia and Highland this week. They are 15-4 overall.
5. Hobbs - Beat Carlsbad and Goddard. This week they take on Alamogordo. 15-7 on the year.
6. Las Cruces - Beat Gadsden and lost to Roswell. Take on Alamogordo and Deming this week. 13-7 on the year. 1-6 against top 5 teams on the season.
7. Carlsbad - Lost to Hobbs and beat Onate. Take on Clovis and Las Cruces this week. 13-8 on the season.
8. Santa Fe - Beat Rio Rancho and Cleveland two weeks ago. Take on Cibola and Rio Rancho this week. 14-5 on the year.
9. Volcano Vista - 2-0 in district play with wins over Cleveland Rio Rancho. Will take on Cibola this week. 11-8 on the year.
10. Albuquerque - Beat Rio Grande and Valley. Riding a 6 game winning streak. Take on West Mesa and Atrisco this week.

1. Los Lunas - Beat Chaparral and Belen. Take on Valencia and Centennial this week. Now 18-2 on the season.
2. Gallup - Beat Farmington. Open this week. Now 17-2 on the season.
3. Roswell - Beat Moriarty and Las Cruces. Will take on Goddard and Lovington. Now 15-3 on the season.
4. Espanola - Beat Los Alamos 51-48. Will take on Bernalillo and Capital. Now 16-2 on the season.
5. Los Alamos - Lost to Espanola. Take on Bernalillo, Del Norte, and Capital. Now 17-3 on the season.
6. Belen - Los to Los Lunas, beat Centennial. Take on Chaparral and Santa Teresa. Have head to head win over Valencia. Now 14-4 on the season.
7. Valencia - Beat Grants and Santa Teresa. Play Los Lunas and Chaparral. 16-4 on the season.
8. Lovington - Beat Portales, lost to EP Eastwood. Open district against Artesia and Roswell. 10-7 on the season.
9. Del Norte - Beat Capital and Moriarty. Take on Los Alamos and Bernalillo this week. Now 11-8 on the season.
10. Farmington - Lost to Gallup. Take on Piedra Vista and Miyamura. 15-6 on the season.

Does anyone have any information on kicking camps?
What are the best ways for a kicker to be seen? I have a grandson that will be a senior next year. And he has a heck of a leg. I know it sounds like a grandfather's pride. But, he has the numbers to back it up. This year he made 33 points out of 35 attempts. That was an average of 4.7 points per game. He is very interested in improving his skill.
Finally, Kyle, does the NMPreps Combine offer anything for kickers? His younger brother is hoping to get an invite this year and it would be great to see both of the boys out there.
