Top Running Backs to Watch in 2023?

Tuesday

• Roswell (13-13) hosting Clovis (10-15)
• Farmington (14-12) at La Cueva (15-11)

--Roswell, Farmington are bubble teams and need any win. Why? The win improves their win percentage, a piece of the six criteria points. Farmington is sitting at .538, the 16th team right now is Las Cruces with .600. It would take a lot of IFs but Farmington could still find a way at the 16th spot.

• Los Alamos (11-16) at Pojoaque Valley (16-10)
• Lovington (12-12) at Goddard (12-14)

--Tuesday night is unofficially bubble night. Most teams are in a must win situation and in 4A basketball we have the same story. The Los Alamos-Pojoaque Valley district need a big week. We could have a bid-steal from that district. Lovington could be in a situation that they would need to win the district tournament. Goddard is on the fringe.

Jeremiah Jaquez
2024 - WR - Hobbs High School

Scoop: The Hobbs Eagles improved greatly last season and Jaquez played a huge role. He would finish with 672 receiving yards and 9 receiving touchdowns.

Peyton Greathouse
2024 - WR - Artesia High School

Scoop: Greathouse led the class (2024) in receiving yards last season with 1,309 yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.

Zane Mayberry
2024 - WR - Portales High School

Scoop: Mayberry a newcomer this season finished with 731 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns for the Portales Rams.
