Rivals Downtime

FYI, Rivals will have a scheduled downtime from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. tonight while the engineers beef up some things on the back end to make the network more stable and faster.

The good news is that a part of the reason for tonight's downtime is to begin the transition to the new message boards. If things go well this weekend, we'll start discussing some of the "how to" questions on the new boards beginning next week with a full release to follow.

New message boards are schedule to be released on the 28th!

Throw Cancer a Curve - Camp

The ABA will be hosting our 3rd Annual benefit camp that is run by the professional players that are in town in the off season. We also have had High School Coaches donate their time with this camp. Coach Murphy and his staff has always jumped on board. Players that will be instructing at the camp are Blake Swihart, Austin House, Mitchell Garver, Alex Allbritton, Shilo McCall, Max Walla...and there are a few more guys that are checking their schedules.

Last year we raised $10,800 for the Justin Solomon Foundation. We had about 60 campers and the rest of the money was raised from donations. Hopefully with everybody's help we will exceed that number this year.

This years camp will benefit:

1. Justin Solomon Foundation

2. South Valley Little League in memory of Rio Grande baseball player Martin Romero who passed away from brain cancer this year.

3. Faith Kuhn is the daughter of Valley HS Head Coach Chad Kuhn. Faith has Spina Bifida and Scoliosis. She has already multiple surgeries in California and is looking at about another dozen more.

If you would like to donate or volunteer please email me at ryanbrewer32@gmail.com. I will put up a link to register for the camp later today. A lot of people from outside of the metro area signed up for the camp even though they couldn't come. The money will be run through the ABA's "Touchem All Faoundation" which is a 501 C3 non profit organization.

Thank you!!! - Ryan Brewer
