ALBUQUERQUE, NM[/B]- The New Mexico Activities Association would like to highlight the following information regarding the 2015 U.S. Bank State Basketball Championship Seeding/Selection Meetings.
[/B]
Due to inclement weather across the state, several District Tournament contests have been postponed and thus may not be completed until Monday, March 2 or Tuesday March 3. The postponements have now affected all classifications and because of this, no seeding/selection meetings will be held on Sunday, March 1.

The NMAA plans to release the brackets for each classification based on the completion of each District Tournament as follows:

Morning of Tuesday, March 3rd – Approximately 9:00 A.M.

Class 2A Girls
Class 3A Girls
Class 4A Girls
Class 5A Girls

Class 5A Boys


Evening of Tuesday, March 3rd – Approximately 11:00 P.M.

Odessa Permian 19-10 10-0 had to vacate their district title and forfeit their first round playoff game due to academically ineligible players. Unclear at this point how many games they participated in or what the status going forward is of the Permian coach. Hobbs had two wins earlier in season against this team, I believe both were 20 plus wins.
