I believe that Jalen Goar is the first eighth grader to ever be on the varsity basketball team at Hobbs. Of course to get maximum playing time he also plays on the JV. In the last game he torched the Las Cruces JV in a blowout with his amazing 3 point shooting. His shots seem effortless and there is no wind up or set. It just happens even way beyond the arc. Think about this...he would be on the Hobbs varsity for five seasons covering the 2017/18 season thru the 2021/22 season. How old does that make you feel? LOL Jalen is the son of the head basketball coach at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs. Congratulations to him for this really rare honor.

Brian Urlacher got into the Football Hall of Fame on his first year of eligibility .

God willing me and my family will be there for the induction . My sister was his advisor in college and we vowed that when he got in we would be there .
