Matt Hegarty will play football elsewhere in 2015, the senior told ESPN.com on Wednesday in a statement.

The 6-foot-4.5, 295-pound Hegarty had overcome a stroke in 2012 to
become a regular on the Fighting Irish's offensive line, starting 11 of
13 games last season at center and guard.

The Aztec, New Mexico, native is expected to graduate in May. He would be eligible to play at another school this coming season.

FYI: Best of luck

Tournament Team or Teams Needed for This Weekend

I had a team drop out of my tournament last minute. I am looking for a team that needs 3 games or multiple teams that may want to play one or two games. At this moment classification does not matter as I want to make sure all my teams get three games.

Sandia head scratcher

Sandia has got to be thinking they got a raw deal.

They had head to head over Valley by 18 and more wins against DCs.

Valley had the better record by one game.

The reg season district was a wash.

Max preps ranking goes to Valley in case of a tie amongst seeding criteria.

The only thing I can think of was that the coaches input favored Valley and forced a max preps tiebreaker, but we aren't privy to that information.

I'm not saying Valley is not deserving, just that it didn't go down the way I thought it would.
